Those travelling solo can stay in single rooms, subject to availability. If required, a 3 bedroom gite located in front of the hotel can be rented.

Not far from Albertville and Megève and on the route of the Grandes Alpes between Col des Aravis and le Col des Saisies, at 1000m above sea level, Saint-Nicolas La Chapelle is a small traditional village at the heart of Val d’Arly, one of Savoie’s best preserved valleys.


In the land of Reblochon and Beaufort, mountain agriculture is thriving, landscapes are open, tourism is respectful of the environment and there’s a natural and friendly welcome. Life is lived in step with the rhythm of the seasons, between forests, mountain pastures and imposing peaks.

After a long day outside, enjoy some seasonal “Home” treats:
Mulled wine, hot chocolate, chocolat moniteur [alcoholic hot chocolate], pom’chaud [hot wine], grog…
Organic herbal teas: Chamomile, fennel, lemon balm, mint, nettle, meadowsweet, linden, thyme, verbena…


here is also the usual range of hot and cold beverages. You can also enjoy our lounge, a friendly and relaxing space where you can feel at home. Board games are available for you to play with family or friends. You can also peruse a selection of Guérin publications: biographies of mountaineers of today and yesterday, stories, guides and albums. Guérin’s red books have been serving as a reference for all mountain lovers for over twenty years.


Our large sunny terrace and small shaded garden, which open onto the fields, invite you to rest and relax.

Amongst the singing of the Eau Vive fountain, the chirping of the birds and the murmur of voices from the village café, time slips peacefully by in the heart of this small village. The perfect place to recharge your batteries.



Venez fêter Noël ou la nouvelle année, à la croisée des massifs des Aravis, du Mont Blanc et du Beaufortain. Raquette au pied, vous assistez au spectacle de la montagne en hiver en parcourant les espaces sauvages et préservés du Val d'Arly. Point d'orgue de votre séjour, votre dîner du Réveillon préparé par notre chef Jérôme.
