VAL D’ARLY

TOURISM
AND ACTIVITIES

Haut Val d’Arly and its eight mountain villages is a perfect resort for family or active holidays in summer as well as winter, or also in spring or autumn for more intimate holidays.

SAINT NICOLAS
LA CHAPELLE
AND FLUMET

Take advantage of the many opportunities for discovery and activities that our beautiful valley provides, and its excellent location in the heart of Savoie, and explore our wonderful region, just a stone’s throw from Switzerland and Italy.

Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle is a small mountain village located 1000m above sea level, in the heart of Haut Val d’Arly. Perched on a sunny spot of the Aravis mountain range, you can enjoy an exceptional panorama of Mont Blanc.

Ideally located between the Aravis Beaufortain mountain ranges, Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle boasts an incredible 4500 hectare natural environment with forests, pastures and mountains ranging from 751m to 2277m above sea level.

You will find yourself in a valley where the villages are full of life all year round thanks to dynamic agropastoral activity related to the Protected Designation of Origin of Reblochon and Beaufort, as well as tourism that is respectful of the environment and human interaction. Val d’Arly offers a wide selection of spring and summer hikes in unspoilt landscapes (spruce forests, old cottages, mountain pastures and imposing peaks…). With their wealth of experience, our team of mountain guides will help you organise your perfect stay.
